Music single launches anti-bullying campaign in Thurrock

A THURROCK woman has released a music single as part of an anti-bullying campaign.

We let Vicky Jones put it in her own words.

Vicky said; "I am 34-years-old and have been writing songs since the age of 7.

When I was 30, I wrote a "Bucket List" with 300 challenges on it. So far, I’ve completed 160 and am writing a book about my experiences and challenges.

One of the tasks was to write and sing the vocals on a song for charity.

The track I wrote is called House of Cards and focuses on the effects of

bullying but has a positive message at the end.

It is now the official song of new Thurrock Charity Greatness Over Bullies. The track is now available on iTunes for 79p and all proceeds go to the charity.

All support towards the song and the track is appreciated. The charity are on twitter, please follow them @GOBCampaign.

The charity encourages young people to meet and talk about all aspects of bullying and to make a difference and they welcome new members.

Flyers and Posters for the charity have been kindly designed for free by Mark Finch @M4rkFinch

Morrisons in Corringham have kindly displayed the flyers and Posters in their store so a big Thank You to them! is where you can find the charity also.

Please download House of Cards by Vicky Jones on iTunes!
