HARRIS Academy in Chafford Hundred has urged parents to ensure their children do not walk on their own after a first year student was accosted by three men.
The school wrote a letter in which the principal, Nicola Graham said: "We feel we should advise you about a potentially concerning incident in the local area recently.
"Whilst no crime took place due to the student leaving the scene very quickly, the approach suggested aggression and potential violence.
"It is always important to remain calm in the face of such reports. However, I must urge you to ensure your child to and from school in the company of others and uses the busiest routes whenever possible.
