Very slow traffic and one lane closed on A13 eastbound in Grays at Tilbury, because of an accident involving four vehicles. Congestion to the M25 J30 junction.

M25 Essex – Very slow traffic on M25 clockwise at A282, QE2 Bridge, because of earlier police incident. All lanes have been re-opened. Congestion to J28, A1023 (Brook Street Roundabout).
Very slow traffic and heavier than usual traffic on A1306 Arterial Road London-bound in Thurrock between Treacle Mine Roundabout and the M25 J31 junction.
Long delays and heavier than usual traffic on A13 westbound between Tilbury in Grays and the M25 J30 junction in Lakeside.

Essex Police statement
Police were called to the QE2 Dartford crossing bridge at 2.50pm today following reports that a man had left his vehicle and climbed over the edge of the bridge.
Officers attended and successfully negotiated with the man who then climbed back to safety. The bridge was closed for a time during the incident, but should reopen shortly.
Motorists are advised that it may take some time for congestion in the area to clear.
