A COUNCIL by-election has been called for Thursday, 4 December in the Aveley and Uplands ward of Thurrock following the death of Cllr Maggie O’Keefe-Ray.
The closing date to vote by proxy is Wednesday, 26 November at 5pm (if you do not already have a postal vote) and emergency proxy applications can be received ffrom that date and time until 5pm on Thursday, 4 December – emergency proxy votes must meet special conditions.
Postal vote ballot packs are being sent out on or after the weekend starting Saturday, 22 November.
