AVELEY’S frustrating season continued as they were thumped 4-1 by Waltham Abbey.
The Millers started well with a series of chances but they failed to convert them.
Harry Elmes opened the scoring with a clever lob.
The second half started well for the Millers as Junior Baker tapped in from close range.
But that stirred Abbey into action. Elmes scored a second and Bruno scored soon after. The dying minutes saw a fourth from Abbey as Aveley had a bad day at the office.
