CAR parking in Chafford Hundred has always been bad but over the last year, it seems to have got a whole lot worse.
Last month we highlighted that residents in Chafford had set up a Facebook page aimed at highlighting problems of parking in the area.
Since then, they have been deluged with evidence of bad and inconsiderate parking.
South Chafford councillor, Tunde Ojetola has taken up their cause.
Cllr Ojetola said: "For residents of Maryrose Close who have raised the issues of dangerous parking in the Close. I showed the Highways Manager round, the situation has been assessed and Maryrose Close has ranked highly enough to be taken forward to consultation. The public consultation will be available in about two weeks."
Many residents believe that the traffic issues are at its worst when school children at all the Harris Academy schools need dropping off and picking up again.
Many have also commented on proposals by Harris Academy to build a second senior school in Chafford Hundred. If they are successful, they could see an extra 1700 students in Chafford by the end of the decade.
