KEEN cooks will have the chance to meet one of the country’s favourite chefs this December, as Gino D’Acampo arrives at intu Lakeside.
Currently appearing on our screens every lunchtime with his series, “Let’s Do Christmas … with Gino & Mel”, the popular personality will be signing copies of his new book, ‘Gino’s Italian Escape: A Taste Of The Sun’, on Friday 12th December, in association with WHSmith. Gino will be meeting fans and personally signing copies of his new book from 5pm to 6pm.
‘Gino’s Italian Escape: A Taste Of The Sun’ is a guide to the very best of Italian food, following Gino as he travels through the beautiful north of his home country – from Venice to Florence and from the coast of Liguria to the rolling hills of Tuscany. With over 100 delicious and simple recipes, from Florentine T-bone steak and Venetian Risotto to Chocolate Panforte and Aubergine, Tomato and Mozzarella Stack, the new book will give you a little bit of the real Italy in your own kitchen. The book follows on from Gino’s TV series of the same name.
