GRAYS Athletic’s season got back with a well-earned victory against Kingstonian at Mill Field.

Before the game, there was a minutes silence for Brad Arthur and former director Paul Spinks.

Joao Carlos opened the scoring in the 22nd minute but Grays were pegged back before half time.

This is where caretaker manager, Mark Bentley, made his first impression as Grays came out a transformed team.

The proof was in the performance in the second half with goals by James Stevens in the 66th minute and Jordan Wilson in the 86th.

The result sees Grays up to fifteenth in the league.
