A TRIAL date has been set in the case of two former fire officers accused of a number of offences centering around "initiation ceremonies" at Tilbury fire station in the eighties and nineties.
Anthony Benham, 50, and Ian Maguire, 55, pleaded not guilty to four counts of indecent assault and 10 counts of false imprisonment when they appeared at Basildon Crown Court on Monday afternoon. (Jan 19th).
The men spoke only to confirm their names and enter their pleas.
They were both given unconditional bail until their next appearance on July 13th.
