THURROCK councillors were left visibly shocked after a foul mouthed outburst from a councillor who is the husband of Thurrock MP, Jackie Doyle Price.
The shocking moment came during a debate regarding the the rejection of a planning proposal for 501 homes in Aveley,
Ukip’s Aveley councillor, Robert Ray was making a point regarding three MEPs. But before he could reach the end of his sentence, cllr Mark Coxshall shouted "Bo**ocks"
The foul mouthed comment sent shock waves through the chamber. Our film shows that Conservative councillors as well as Labour and Ukip were shocked at the language spewing forth from the man who is the husband of the Thurrock MP, Jackie Doyle-Price as well as her political assistant.
Former Thurrock Council leader, cllr Terry Hipsey leapt to his feet and demanded that "the twerp" be removed from the chamber.
Cllr Coxshall said: I withdraw the comment as long as he does not carry on making slanderous comments."
Ukip councillors looked confused as the councillor had not actually apologised and cllr Ray had not actually got to the end of his sentence.
