POLICE are appealing for information following at burglary at a house in Cedar Road, Grays.
It happened sometime between 10.30am and 9.30pm on Saturday, January 17. Thieves broke into the house by smashing the handle off a rear door. Once inside they stole various items of jewellery but also Essex regiment D Day pendants which are of great sentimental value to the owner.
The victim would very much like the pendants to be returned.
Anybody who has any information about the burglary, know where the pendants may be or saw anybody acting suspiciously in the area at the time of the burglary is asked to contact Pc Jo Watts at Grays CID on Essex Police 101.
