THURROCK MEP has branded the Thurrock Labour candidate, "chicken" for not sharing a platform with him at the Thameside Theatre on Tuesday night.
Tim Aker MEP said: “Thurrock needs a fighter, not a chicken. Labour’s
candidate has shown her contempt for residents by refusing to debate
me on the number one issue in the borough.
“She seems to have all of the excuses under the sun. We have an impartial Chairman in Ray Andrews, a former Conservative Leader on Thurrock Council.
Ed Miliband’s candidate also talks about a public meeting she held last week that nobody I’ve spoken to in Grays even heard about. Everyone in Grays received my invitation through their letter box for this debate, a real debate.
“Why doesn’t she just admit that she’s too scared to defend Labour’s appalling record on immigration as on the NHS and housing?”
