IT HAS been quite a while since we have heard from Tilbury musician, Sweet Wrapper.
We thought his This is Tilbury was an underground classic.
But now, five years ago, he has returned with a more sophisticated sound and a very impressive video.
The video was shot in Tilbury.
So we asked Sweet Wrapper why the long gap and what were his plans.
He said: "This is the first track in a long time.
In the six years since the Tilbury song I was part of a trio that won an award for best newcomers at a Urban music competition called Urban Nerds with my "old click" called ‘BAD Content’ and played a few festivals including Brownstock.
Now, I’m on the cusp of finishing my third solo album that has my best music to
date.
What next? We will see, but currently in talks with a few people in the States. Who knows what may happen, all I know is, I’m in a more professional and content state of mind, and position where I can focus a lot more on what I do, as well as produce a chart worthy kind of music.
