POLICE are appealing for information after nine vehicles were entered in one evening in Chafford Hundred and items stolen.
Two vehicles were entered in Mary Rose Close, two in Gilbert Road and five in Chichester Close, all overnight on Sunday, March 1 to Monday, March 2.
Various items were stolen including a pocket knife with a bone handle and a large white audio speaker.
Some of the vehicles were entered but nothing was taken.
No damage was caused to any of the vehicles.
Anyone with information is asked to call Grays police station on 101.
Motorists are advised to ensure no items are left on display in their vehicles, that valuable property is removed and doors, windows and boots are locked.
They are also advised to choose somewhere busy and well lit to park, or use their garage to park their vehicle in overnight if they have one.
