AN Essex Police officer has pleaded guilty to one count of making indecent images of children.
Ben Hodder, aged 34, from Thurrock, admitted the charge at Snaresbrook Crown Court today (Friday, March 13).
Sentencing has been adjourned until Friday, April 17.
The officer, who was a Chief Inspector at Thurrock, has been suspended from duty since May 8, 2014.
Misconduct proceedings will now start in relation to this case.
