GRAYS Athletic dropped two vital points at home that may have put paid to any play off hopes.
Having said that it is very tight at the top and if Grays win their two games in hand they could find themselves the final play off place.
But they have a tough run in which may temper such lofty ambitions.
Grays went ahead in the 50th minute with a goal from Correy Davidson.
But VCD are battling for their lives in the Ryman Premier and equalised in the 73rd minute.
Grays Ath play Tonbridge Angels on Wednesday at Mill Field, Aveley and then travel away to Bury on Saturday.
