Thurrock Writer’s Circle: March report

    THURROCK Writers Circle have had a busy time this month. Mary Vear has had a one-hundred word story accepted in the Readers Digest Competition.

    Peter Pascoe has been asked to become a judge for competitions for the RNIB. Members are submitting their stories and poems for the new Anthology.

    This is being sponsored with a grant thanks to the Thurrock Community Chest. The work to collate the Anthology is being undertaken by Steve Grimshaw.

    Members are looking forward to a writing weekend that has been arranged in September.

    A variety of work was read out.

    Then after refreshments, members went on to do an exercise presented by Cindy Barber.

    The TWC next meeting will be on Wednesday April1st. at 7-30pm to 9-30pm at the Hugh Delargy Complex Hall Chadwell St Mary
