YOU may have noticed a few billboards and posters around the two constituencies.
It used to be de rigeur in the sixties and seventies but somewhere along the way it became a bit old hat.
Love or loathe them, it is probably UKIP who have brought it all back again.
In Thurrock, there are some streets awash with posters (South Ockendon for example). Others have a healthy glow of red, blue and purple.
Judging by this video put up this afternoon, we even have a swing voter from her balcony as it seems an Ockendon resident has allowed UKIP to take down her Labour poster and replaced it with a UKIP one.
Oh, it is going to be a long month.
