IT could be fair to say that there was a robust exchange of words at the General Election hustings for the constituency of Thurrock held at the Thameside Theatre on Wednesday night.
With over a hundred in the audience as well as hundreds on-line on social media, the four candidates enjoyed what was an excellent two hours of political debating.
Each candidate was given two minutes at the beginning to tell the audience why they should be the next MP.
The next ninety minutes saw a large number of questions posed by the studio and on-line audiences.
The questions ranged from: Grays Walk-In Centre, Immigration, Crime, European Union, Sports in Thurrock ad many more.
The four candidates: Daniel Munyambu (Ind); Polly Billington (Lab); Tim Aker (UKIP) and Aba Kristilolu (All People’s Party) all had an opportunity to put their cases across.
