GRAYS residents have slammed Thurrock Council after Grays High Street was once again covered in litter.
Residents visited the high street on Sunday morning and were shocked to see the state of the street.
After a long battle, Thurrock Council had pledged to commit more rescuers to cleaning the street.
Residents noticed a difference but on Sunday morning it all seemed to be back to square one as the high street was awash with detritus.
Update: A number of streets still looked very shabby on Monday morning.
