PLANS for the start of the Thurrock 100 walking challenge moved on apace last week when Mayor of Thurrock, Cllr Sue Gray met representatives from HW Wilson & Co.
The South Ockendon-based builders are supporting the event by providing drinks and fruit for the walkers, as well as encouraging their staff to take part.
The mayor thanked Peter Wiffen from H W Wilson for always stepping up to the plate in the community and showing their support.
Thurrock 100 has mapped out ten new walks around the borough and you can walk ten minutes or ten miles whatever you like, but if you want to do the whole 10 miles why not get sponsored for your favourite cause at the same time?
