THE Rotary Club of Thurrock Gateway President Frank Claydon, in his first ‘official’ role since taking over Presidency of the Club on 1st July, presented Year 6 students of Chadwell St. Mary Primary School with 40 "Rotary Illustrated Dictionaries 4 Life" utilising funds raised locally from Thurrock residents during store collections over Christmas at Sainsbury’s, Chafford Hundred.
Inside the Dictionary a brief note about the history of Rotary was placed and the inspirational message read ‘Today a reader, tomorrow a Leader’
President Frank was welcomed by Head Teacher Julie Donnelly and students who accepted the Dictionaries on behalf of the school.
The Rotary Club meets at The White Hart Inn, Grays RM17 6HR on the 2nd & 3rd Mondays each month @ 7pm, all are welcome…
