Bury 5 v 1 Aveley
AVELEY made a disastrous start to the season with a 5-1 defeat against Bury Town.
It all started so well as the Millermen opened the scoring in the first minute through Liam Nash.
But as the game went on, Bury started to feel their way. Ollie Hughes equalised in the 28th minute and he made it two six minutes later with a header.
After the break Bury came out full of confidence and looked threatening with every attack. Bury’s third goal was a great individual piece from Ace Howell. David Lampshire scored the fourth and Bradley Barber the fifth.
Aveley are back in action on Monday when they face Heybridge Swifts at Mill Field.
