Thurrock 3 v 1 Barkingside
THURROCK showed their star quality on the opening day of the season with an impressive 3-1 victory over Barkingside.
Goals by Roass Wall in the 14th minute, Lewis Clark in the 22nd minute saw the Fleet 2-0 up at half time.
Barkingside pegged one back at the hour mark but Leslie Thompson made sure of things in the final minute.
Thurrock’s next opponents are the tricky Thamesmead Town away on Monday evening at 7.45pm.
