TWO people who threw cigarette butts out of their cars have been fined by Thurrock Council.
A fixed penalty notice was issued to a 44-yuear-old woman from Stanford-le-Hope after she was spotted throwing the butt from her car while driving round the Orsett Cock roundabout in July.
She paid the £50 fine.
In a different case, a woman from South Ockendon was seen throwing a butt from her car at the Treacle Mine roundabout in Grays at its junction with Long Lane in June. She too paid the £50 fixed penalty notice.
