ESSEX Firefighters were called to a road traffic collision on the M25 at junction 30, the incident involved a car and a petrol tanker.
Crews reported that there was no fuel leaking onto the carriageway.
Fire crews used specialist cutting equipment and worked with the Amublance Service to release one person who was trapped.
The casualty was cut free by 01:43hrs and placed in the care of the Ambulance Service.
