A GRAYS teenager is in police custody on suspicion of criminal damage.
An Essex Police spokesperson said: "A 19-year-old male was arrested in the early hours of Tuesday, on suspicion of criminal damage to a takeaway shop on Southchurch Road in Southend.
"A male remains in custody and will be questioned regarding the alleged offence."
