ESSEX Police are appealing for information following a robbery which occurred near the Lakeside Shopping Centre in Grays.
It happened near the Ikea car park at around 8pm on Tuesday, August 25. A 20-year-old man from Birmingham was approached by three black men in a black BMW. They threatened him and stole a four figure sum of cash from him. The three men then fled the area in the vehicle at speed.
DI Jim Adams of Grays CID said: "This appears to have been an isolated incident where the victim has been targeted by the men.”
