A CAMPAIGN by Thurrock residents to raise money for refugees has raised thousands in just a few days.
The sidebyside campaign was begun by Thurrock couple, Graham and Rachel Marshall who wanted to raise funds to help those in Calais.
YT first published an article on August 20th, when they had just raised a few pounds.

Now the fund has just gone over £7,000 and has been highlighted in national newspapers such as The Independent.
