A CEREMONY to mark the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain took place in Grays on Sunday morning.
The mayor of Thurrock, South Basildon and East Thurrock MP Stephen Metcalfe and the leader of Thurrock Council, cllr John Kent were all present to pay tribute to those who fought against the Nazi enemy in 1940.
