A1321 Broadmayne in Basildon blocked and delays eastbound at the Ghyllgrove junction, because of an accident involving a car and a pedestrian.
A13 Pitsea Flyover in Pitsea closed and queuing traffic in both directions at Pitsea Flyover, because of accident investigation work. Diversion in operation – via the exit and entry slip road.

Motorists have been advised to avoid the A13 at Pitsea following a road crash in which a driver has died.
The collision involved an HGV, a tractor and a van and has led to the closure of both carriageways on the Pitsea flyover.
The tractor driver was airlifted to Royal London Hospital but died shortly after arrival. He is believed to be from the Colchester area and his family has been informed.
Emergency services were called at about 1.30pm today, Monday September 21, following reports that both carriageways had been blocked following the crash.
The HGV driver and driver of the van were both treated for slight injuries. Police later arrested the HGV driver on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Road closures are likely to be in place for several hours into the evening rush as police collision investigators carry out their enquiries.
Traffic is currently being diverted off both carriageways of the A13 and is flowing slowly under the flyover, but long tailbacks are expected in both directions.
Drivers are being advised to avoid the area and to seek alternative routes.

Both carriageways on the flyover have been closed and are likely to remain shut for several hours for police investigations. The road closures are likely to cause congestion into the evening rush hour and drivers are being advised to avoid the area and seek alternative routes.
