Tilbury 4 v 1 Redbridge
ONLY the late dismissal of defender Conor Mead marred an excellent Ryman North win for Tilbury on Tuesday.
Emiel Aiken got them under way with the only goal of the first half after 17 minutes. Kurt Smith scored Dockers’ second after 55 minutes and , with Redbridge sub Sam Williams getting a red card on the bench, Harry Cook grabbed a goal on the hour before Smith’s second on 68 minutes finished the home side’s scoring.
Dockers made three late changes with the win in the bag but Mead saw red on 78 minutes and Daniel Jones scored in added time to take the edge off the victory a little.
The win puts Tilbury in tenth place in the league with a couple of games in hand.
They return to action in the FA Trophy on Saturday against Barkingside at Chadfields.
