CALLING all budding and hopeful writers – the third Thurrock Writers Festival is for you.
The event, at Grays Library on Monday, 26 October, will see workshops for children and adults – as well as special speed-dating sessions where local published writers will be able to answer questions face-to-face.
There is something for everyone at the 2015 Thurrock Writers Festival where Thurrock Council’s libraries team has bought together local authors to offer their valuable writing tips, advice and knowledge.
The festival runs from 10am until 4pm at Grays Library and involves local authors Jean Fullerton, Michelle Harrison, Julie Earle, Ben Hennessy, Sarah Grant, Danielle Chinnon as well as local writing groups the Thurrock Writers Circle and the Corringham Writers Group.
There will be an opportunity to buy signed copies of their books and chat to them on the day.
With a café on the ground floor, visitors can enjoy a light lunch and a drink while they get inspired and creative.
