Great Wakering Rovers 1 v 4 Thurrock
THURROCK cemented their promotion credential with an emphatic away victory at Great Wakering Rovers.
Over the last few seasons, Thurrock’s form has been let down by a degree of inconsistency but it now looks like they have ironed that out as they went on to record their third win in a row.
The victory puts them third in the league, five points behind leaders Cray but with three games in hand.
They also have an enviable record of seven straight victories at home.
Goals from Charlie Stimson, David Cowley, Ross Wall and Jordan Clark sealed the win for the Fleet.
Thurrock return to action on Tuesday night when they make the trip to Soham Town Rangers.
