Football: Higgins to the rescue again as Rocks grab vital point

Ryman Premier

Bognor Regis Town 2 v 2 East Thurrock United

AN 88th minute equaliser ensured East Thurrock United grabbed a vital point away at promotion candidates Bognor Regis Town.

If the glass is half empty then The Rocks are seventh from bottom and not winning enough league games.

If the glass is half full then East Thurrock have a number of games in hand that if they win could see them catapult up the league.

The Rocks went a goal behind after free scoring Alfie Robertson put Bognor ahead.

Mitchell Gilbey grabbed an equaliser just before half time.

When Alfie Robertson scored again, it looked like East Thurrock would lose all three points however, it was Sam Higgins who managed to rescue a point with a goal in the 88th minute.
