STAFF at Thurrock Council will be marking Black History Month on Friday, 30 October.
The council’s Black and Minority Ethnic staff forum are joining with its fostering and adoption service between 1pm and 3pm promoting the recruitment of BME families.
There will also be information available from the African and Caribbean Leukaemia Trust (ACLT), a charity which aims to increase the number of black, mixed race and ethnic minority people on the UK Bone Marrow Register.
