UKIP MEP, Tim Aker has also criticised Jackie Doyle-Price over the proposals for a new Dartford Crossing.
Cllr Tim Aker MEP said: "Jackie Doyle Price seems to be u-turning on her opposition to a new Thames crossing.
"We remember all those leaflets she put out, all those staged photos collecting signatures against another crossing. Now the election’s over she’s ready to sell Thurrock out.
"I can tell you we’ll never stop opposing a new Thames crossing. Thurrock is more than just a set of roads and bridges. It’s our home. We deserve cleaner air and less congestion.
"Only a genuinely local MP would appreciate that."
