A SOUTH OCKENDON man has appeared in court over an alleged sexual assault in the Royal British Legion in South Ockendon.
John Quinn (52) of Orchard Road, South Ockendon, faced four charges at Basildon magistrates court.
The charges are as follows: On 08/02/2015 at Royal British Legion intentionally touched a child aged 15 and that touching was sexual when he did not consent and you did not reasonably believe that he was consenting.
Quinn also faced three charges in relation to sexual assault in relation to a child aged fifteen whilst being in a position of trust.
Quinn was granted bail.
The case has been sent for trial at Basildon Crown Court.
