A WOMAN suffered a heart attack in West Thurrock today (Friday).
A spokesperson for the East of England Ambulance Service said:
"We received a call today (27th November) at 14:45pm to reports of a woman who had collapsed in West Thurrock, Grays.
"A CFR attended in less than three minutes, shortly followed by two rapid response vehicles, an ambulance crew, ambulance officer and the HEMS air ambulance.
Upon arriving at the scene the woman had gone into cardiac arrest – fortunately, following the efforts of everyone involved they managed to restart the patient’s heart.
"After stabilising the condition of the patient, she was quickly taken to Basildon and Thurrock Hospital for further treatment via land. Her condition is, still serious but stable.
