THE LAST few months have been a whirlwind for Thurrock’s X Factor star Louisa Johnson but she seems to be taking it all in her stride.
But much of the credit for this may go down to her mother Lisa who seems to be an oasis of calm in the middle of these heady times for her daughter.
YT caught up with Lisa on Thursday night as Louisa was preparing for the semi-finals of X Factor when Louisa goes up against three other contestants.
Lisa said: "This whole journey has been tiring for everyone but we must pay credit to each and every person involved in X Factor.
"Everyone is so positive and so professional. They are just doing their job and wants to see the best of everyone.
"Some people have asked why we waited until 2015 to go on X Factor. The answer is that Louisa simply wasn’t ready. As you can see, she is ready now and has the maturity and confidence to perform at the highest level.
"This is the key time now because this is a competition and we are so close but Louisa and all the team remain cool, calm and confident.
"We must also thank the people of Thurrock who have been so warm, so kind with their comments and gesture of support."
