JOHN Wayne Hibbert’s fight against Tommy Martin will be on the same bill as George Groves after Christmas.
Hibbert, from Horndon-on-the-Hill, will be making the first defence of his Commonwealth Super Light-weight title against Martin at the Copper Box on London’s Olympic Park on Saturday, January 30.
Their bout will come immediately before Groves’ fight with his promoters still looking for an opponent.
Super-middleweight Groves is trying to rebuild his career after three World title defeats, twice to Carl Froch and once to Badou Jack.
