A LOCAL MP and leading councillor visited a brand new estate agents, Just Move Homes, in Stanford on Saturday, set up by a young Stanford man, as a part of small business Saturday.
Homesteads Councillor and Conservative Deputy Leader, Cllr James Halden said "I went to school with Daniel Ellis, so it was a real pleasure to have this visit booked in while we were supporting small business Saturday. Dan is Stanford man who decided he could not just thrive in this industry, but play a part in running it. Just Move Homes is a great home grown venture – it’s vital for our long term economic growth that more people are taken with Thurrock’s entrepreneurial potential like Dan was. We all must support our local high streets and town centres as business people or consumers".
Stephen Metcalfe MP added “Essex is one of the most entrepreneurial counties in the country and seeing what Dan Ellis has done just reinforces that reputation. Starting your own business and working for yourself is a big step, but having met Dan I am sure he and Just Move Homes will be a huge success.
