Hathaway Academy triumph in choir competition

THIS year Academy Transformation Trust (ATT) held their first ever pupil choir competition. The aim of the competition was to build a sense of awareness and community among the family of ATT pupils and staff.

Each ATT academy was asked to submit a brief video of their choir singing along to a pre-recorded or live accompaniment. The winners were chosen based on votes from all of our academies and The Trust head office.

The primary category winner was Norwich Road Academy and The Hathaway Academy won the secondary category. You can view their winning performances on the ATT website www.academytransformationtrust.co.uk/news

Both academies performed at the Pupil Awards and were presented with their award at the event by Diversity’s Jordan and Perri on 10 December 2015 at Birmingham Council House.

Joyce Hodgetts, Managing Director of ATT, said: “Thank you to all of our academies who participated in this year’s pupil choir competition and to everyone who voted.

“We were really pleased with the responses we received and we were impressed with the creativity of our talented pupils and the staff who supported them.

“Congratulations to Norwich Road Academy and The Hathaway Academy and thank you again to everyone who participated. We look forward to hearing from even more of you next year!”
