Can you help? Kind-hearted residents raise money for homeless man attacked

A FUND-RAISING page has been set to up to help the man who was the victim of a vicious attack in November.

The incident happened when the man, aged in his 50s, was outside Burger King under a blanket in the High Street on Thursday (November 12) (see story below)

To date (Dec 27th) the page has raised over £100 but would ideally like to get to the £200 mark.

The page reads as follows: "We are trying to raise some money for the homeless man that was attacked in Grays Town Centre by several young youths who were trying to steal his blanket.

"He ended up with a broken leg and has only just recently been let out of hospital. We think that as a community we would like to show him that there are nice people out there that are willing to help."
