Grays man fined over £400 for riding bike in the dark

A MAN from Grays has been fined over £400 for riding his bike without lights.

David Ihnacakaq (20), of Clarence Road, Grays was hit with the fine after riding his bike on Clarence Road "between the hours of sunset and sunrise on June 23rd, 2015.

"when the front and rear position lamps required to by fitted by the Road Vehicles Lighting Regulations 1989 were not kept lit and unobscured.

The judgement was made (in his absence) at Basildon magistrates court on December 23rd, 2015.

He was fined £482.00
