Barriers back up.

THE LEVEL crossing at East Tilbury has been down since 5pm.
Traffic is backing up on both sides of the crossing on Princess Margaret Road.
People have reported on social media that people are jumping the barriers.
This is not the first time that this has happened. Many are concerned as to how emergency service vehicles would gain access to East Tilbury.
A spokesperson for Network Rail said: "There is a fault with the crossing, our engineers are working as quickly as possible to fix this".
FYI..the barriers are operated by Network Rail and not C2C or National Express.
