THERE was standing room only at the Homesteads Hall on Saturday afternoon as the public had their say in first of a panel of politicians and police.
The panel consisted of MP Stephen Metcalfe, Homesteads councillor James Halden, Essex Police Crime Commissioner, Nick Alston, Supt. Trevor Roes and Chief Insp Leigh Norris.
Amon the hot topics was the quality of the 101 system; Corringham Police Station, police presence in the area and burglaries.
The meeting lasted for ninety minutes.
