THE mother of a 14-year-old boy murdered in Grays by a man he met while gaming online says she has "no doubt" a person who has contacted her online is her son’s killer.
Breck Bednar was killed in 2014 after being lured to Grays by Lewis Daynes, 20, who is serving a life sentence.
Breck’s mother Lorin LaFave has told BBC Surrey: "It’s very distressing and I know it’s him."
The Ministry of Justice said it had found no evidence of electronic communication in Daynes’s cell.
Essex Police said it was investigating the two online postings.
A force spokesman said: "The police have been made aware of a second letter purporting to be from Lewis Daynes that has been posted on the internet.
"The police service is considering if any offences have been committed by the publication.

A documentary on the death of Breck Bednar was first aired on BBC3 on Tuesday evening and can be found in the BBC I-Player.
