OVER the last few days, Thurrock residents have been getting over the shock that plans for a major road to tear through their borough are much further forward than they realised or feared.
But at the same time, even since Wednesday, when the first letters arrived from the Highways England, it has also become clear that there are intelligent, articulate and determined people in Thurrock who are not going to give up without a fight.
One such person is Woolings Close resident. George Abbott.
