ESSEX Firefighters were called to an RTC involving four vehicles on the A13 between Manorway and the Five Bells junctions.
Crews used specialist cutting equipment to release one female trapped in her vehicle by 18:46hrs.
The casualty was left in the care of the Ambulance Service.
